Lawford FC Blues 1 Great Bradfords Rockets 5

It was a cold morning for the teams as they were ready to kick off. Lawford began the play with a good spell of possession but could not break down a hardy Rockets defence. Half Time came and no team had taken advantage with both teams sharing equally dominant areas of possession.

The second half whistle went and the Bradfords side took an early goal deservedly so but moments later the Lawford FC side took back the level stakes with an equaliser, a very even fixture. 

Very quickly after the two early half goals Quinn scored his second after taking the side 1 up he restored that advantage before Dylan added a screamer into the top left bins of the Blues goal. Sam added a fourth for Bradfords not too long after.

With minutes left and having seen Dylan score contender for the goal of the season it was swamped by Ryan as he saw the side finish 5-1 to the good after blasting in from an impossible angle.

 The game drifted away from Lawford in the second half but credit must go to them for playing great football in a spirited and sporting affair. 

Rockets now sit third in the table with three games in hand on second place who sit three points above and with still two fixtures to come against top of the league Boxted Lodgers it is still a wide open league.
